  I was looking for an inexpensive way to get a second pair of bifocals for spare. I googled eyeglasses and America's Best came up in the search. They had an incredible deal on two pairs so I called to see if there was a catch. The woman on the phone was very abrupt and she said "okay, thank you, goodbye" and hung up before I was done talking. I was a little surprised. I then went onto the google reviews and saw so so many negative reviews. I thought for sure that it had to be a dump and a scam once inside. However, I had to drive in that direction that day anyway so I decided to make an appointment and decide for myself when I got there. If they were rude or shady, I would simply leave. I'm glad I made the appointment. I found none of the negative reviews to be true or accurate. They were quick to get you in and out, yes, but isn't that what you want? Who wants to wait an hour for a ten minute exam and for service? I found all of the employees to be very friendly and pleasant. Contrary to the negative comments, they did know what they were doing, and they did get my prescription correct, and they did sell the product at the advertised price. So why all the negative reviews, I don't know. Decide for yourself like I did. Don't let the negative reviews keep you from getting some decent glasses at a reasonable price just because some people don't understand that they are not getting scammed simply if they ask you if you want the upgrades such as scratch resistance or upgraded lenses. They sell what they advertise for the price they advertise it for and if that's all you want to pay then don't upgrade. Simple.
